Adding a Column

Realtime Landscaping Architect comes with a large variety of columns, and you can create your own by modifying their size and changing their materials.

To add a column:

1.   Click Add Column.

2.   Select the desired column style by clicking the picture in the property window.

3.   Click to add the column. Hold Ctrl while you click if you want to add more than one.

The following is an example of two columns used in the front porch:

Tips:

•      If grid snap is enabled, it might be difficult to place the column exactly where you want it. Press Ctrl+G to disable grid snap. See Snap Settings for more information.

•      You can scale and rotate columns for more variety. See Scaling Objects and Rotating Objects for more information.

•      You can change the material of your columns to wood, brick, stone, or one of several hundred other materials. See Editing Materials for more information.
