Deck Wizard

The deck wizard adds a pre-built deck to your landscape design.

To add a deck using the deck wizard:

1.   Select Tools > Deck wizard.

2.   Click Next.

3.   Click the picture of the deck to select a new one and click Next.

4.   Click Finish to add the deck to your landscape design.

The wizard will automatically switch to the plan view and add the deck to the center of the landscape. You can then use the move and/or rotate tools to adjust the position and rotation of the deck as desired.

The deck and associated objects will be grouped, making them easy to rotate and move. If you want to edit the individual objects you will need to ungroup them first. See Grouping and Ungrouping Objects for more information.

The following deck was added using the Deck Wizard.

Tips:

•      The wizard does not delete any existing decks you may have. You can have more than one deck in your landscape if desired.

•      Use the Deck and Deck Stairs tools to build a new deck from scratch.

•      Use the House Wizard to add a pre-built house with attached deck.

•      Use the Landscape Wizard to add a house, deck, pond, and fence all at once.
