Custom appearance in each view

Check this option to display the house as a floor plan in the plan view. Uncheck this option to display the house as a top-down view of the 3D model.

Plan

The properties in this group determine the object's appearance in the plan view.

Perspective

The properties in this group determine the object's appearance in the perspective and realtime walkthrough views.

Roof material

Material used for the roof. When displaying the house as a floor plan, this is the appearance of the interior in the plan view. Click to change.

Roof material options

Click to edit options that affect the appearance of the roof material.

Roof material size

Size of the roof material. Adjust to make the material appear larger or smaller.

Roof material angle

Rotation angle of the material.

Roof material transparency

Transparency of the floor plan interior in the plan view.

Roof material line style

Click to edit the floor plan line style.

Wall material

Material used for the walls. Click to change.

Wall material options

Click to edit the wall material's color and brightness.

Wall material size

Size of the material. Adjust to make the material appear larger or smaller.

Wall material angle

Rotation angle of the material.

Wall height

Height of the walls, excluding the height of the roof. Set to 0 to the remove the walls and ceiling, leaving just the roof.

Elevation

Height of the house off the ground. This is relative to the lowest point on the house's outline.

Roof pitch

Roof pitch, in degrees. Set to 0 for a flat roof with no overhang (useful for lower levels of multistory houses).

Roof overhang

Size of the roof overhang.

Add corner trim

Check this option to add corner trim.

Trim color

Color of the wall, door, window, and corner trim.

Edit points

Click to edit the points that define the house's outline.

Shape options

Click to save the current shape or load a new one.

Edit roof type

Click to select between hip and gable roof styles. When enabled, click the wall underneath the edge of the roof you want to change.

Area

Calculated area in square feet or meters.

Perimeter

Calculated perimeter in feet or meters.
