Orbiting the View

To orbit the perspective view:
1. Click
Orbit.
2. Position the cursor
inside the view and hold the left mouse button while dragging the mouse to
orbit.
To orbit around a specific object:
1. Select the
object.
2. Click Zoom Selection to center the
object in the view.
3. Click
Orbit.
4. Position the cursor
inside the view and hold the left mouse button while dragging the mouse to
orbit.
To orbit around the entire scene:
1. Make sure no objects
are selected. (Select Edit > Select None if needed.)
2. Click Zoom
Selection to center the scene in the view.
3. Click
Orbit.
4. Position the cursor
inside the view and left-drag to orbit.
Mouse Shortcut: You can also orbit by holding
down the right mouse button while dragging the mouse. This is quicker than
clicking the Orbit button whenever you want to orbit the view.
Tips:
• This
tool is only available in the perspective view. Orbiting is not available in the
top-down view.
• While
orbiting, the mouse automatically wraps when it reaches the edge of the view.
This makes it easier to orbit the desired amount in a single operation.
