Fill Material

Material that lines the bottom of the pond. Click to select a different material.

Fill material options

Click to edit options that affect the appearance of the fill material.

Fill material size

Size of the fill material. Adjust to make the material appear larger or smaller.

Fill material angle

Rotation angle of the fill material.

Depth

Depth of the water at the center of the pond. The default is 2'.

Important: Depending on your local building codes, ponds deeper than a certain depth may require a fence or have other restrictions for safety purposes. Please check your local building codes before building a real pond.

Depth taper

This controls how steep the sides are. Use a smaller number for a more gradual change in depth, or a larger number for a faster change in depth.

Water level

Percentage of the pond filled with water. Use 0 for an empty pond, and 100 for a full pond.

Edit points

Click to edit the points that define the pond's outline.

Shape options

Click to save the current shape or load a new one.

Add Rock Border

Check this option to add a rock border, or uncheck to remove the entire rock border.

Rock material

Material the rock border is made out of. Click to select a different material.

Smoother rocks

Click this option to use smoother rocks for the rock border.

Rock size

Approximate size of each rock. (The rock sizes will vary, but this determines their overall size.)

Edit border

When enabled, click the edge(s) where you want to toggle the rock border on or off.

Area

Calculated area in square feet or meters.

Perimeter

Calculated perimeter in feet or meters.

Volume

Calculated volume in cubic feet or meters. This value is calculated using the average depth and is only an estimate.
