High Resolution Plants - A Surprising Difference

If you've used other landscape design software, you may have been disappointed in the quality of the plants. Many look okay in screen shots (where the resolution is low), but appear blocky when magnified or printed. This happens when the plants use a low resolution (256 pixels wide/tall) with only 256 colors per plant, which is required to run on older Windows 95/98 era computers.

Realtime Landscaping Photo includes over 3200 high-resolution pictures of real plants. Our plants are up to 1024 pixels wide/tall with 16 million colors per plant, and were developed exclusively for use in our software. Windows 8, 7, Vista, or XP is required - older computers are simply not powerful enough to handle this much data.

The quality difference is surprising, especially when creating full-screen presentations or printing to a laser printer.

Accessories and More

Over 1200 landscaping accessories are included. Decorate your landscape designs with pots and planters, statuary, rockery, lawn furniture, and much more.

If you've other photo-based landscape design software, you probably noticed how difficult it is to use pictures of lawn furniture and other objects on top of your photos. This happens because the perspective of the object does not match the perspective of your background picture.

The solution? Realtime Landscaping Photo uses true 3D models for objects such as edging, retaining walls, fencing, and lawn furniture. A unique perspective-matching feature helps the objects blend seamlessly into the landscape design.

New! You can now import models in the SketchUp file format. Expand your library of 3D accessories by downloading free models from the Google 3D Warehouse. You can even download a free copy of SketchUp for designing your own custom models.

Landscape Lighting DesignLandscape Lighting Design

You can switch between day and night viewing with one mouse click. You can control how light or dark your landscape is at night, the direction of the sun/moon, and whether or not objects cast shadows.
