Retaining Wall Properties

Description

Add coping

The Add coping property determines whether coping is added to the top of the retaining wall. To toggle the retaining wall coping, click the Add coping checkbox.

Coping material

The Material property determines what type of surface the retaining wall coping will use. To change the material, click the small image that displays the current material. The Material property will not be available unless the Add coping option is checked.

Coping material options

The appearance of the retaining wall coping can be modified by clicking the small button that appears to the right of the material image.

Coping material size

The Size property determines the scale of the retaining wall coping material. For example, if the coping has a brick material, then the Size slider will adjust the size of each brick. Note that the Size slider has no effect on solid color materials. The Size option will not be available unless the Add coping option is checked.

Coping material angle

The Angle property determines the rotation angle of the retaining wall coping material. Note that the Angle property has no effect on solid color materials. To change the material angle, move the Angle slider or type a value in the text field. The Angle option will not be available unless the Add coping option is checked.

Wall material

The Wall Material property determines what type of surface the retaining wall will use. To change the material, click the small image that displays the current material.

Wall material options

The appearance of the retaining wall can be modified by clicking the small button that appears to the right of the material image.

Wall material size

The Size property determines the scale of the retaining wall material. For example, if the retaining wall has a brick material, then the Size slider will adjust the size of each brick. Note that the Size slider has no effect on solid color  materials.

Wall material angle

The Angle property determines the rotation angle of the retaining wall material. Note that the Angle property has no effect on solid color materials. To change the retaining wall material angle, move the Angle slider or type a value in the text field.

Width

The Width property determines how thick the retaining wall is. To change the retaining wall width, move the Width slider or enter a value in the text field.

Perspective

The Perspective property is used to adjust the simulated vanishing point. Use this to match the perspective of your background picture.

Closed

The Closed property determines whether the retaining wall’s shape is open or closed. To change the state of the retaining wall’s shape, click the Closed checkbox to toggle it.

Edit points

Click the Edit points button to enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the retaining wall’s shape. See Editing Points for details.

Height

The Height property determines how tall the retaining wall is. To adjust the retaining wall’s height, move the Height slider or type a value in the text field.
