This guide will show you how to add a custom material using the Picture Import Wizard.
First, click Tools found in the Menu Bar, and then Picture Import Wizard.
A dialog box will appear. Click Next to begin.
You will then be prompted to select the type of picture you are importing. For the purposes of this tutorial, we will be importing a picture to use as patio material. Choose the appropriate type, and then click Next.
Select your desired image, and then click Open.
For best results, your image should tile seamlessly in both horizontal and vertical directions. Click Next if you are happy with your selection. If you wish to select another file, click Select Picture and choose your desired image.
Next, you will be prompted to set the destination file name. Click Set File Name, to enter the desired file name, then click Next.
You have now reached the end of the Picture Import Wizard. If you wish to make any revisions to previous steps, click the Back button. Click Finish to import your picture.
To use your new material, select the object you want to change. For the purpose of this guide we are selecting a path. Click the material image seen below.
Your new image will be under the Custom category. Select your image, and then click OK.
