Patio Stairs Properties

| Max rise | Maximum vertical distance between steps. | 
| Run | Length of each step. | 
| Elevation | Distance from the ground to the bottom of the stairs. | 
| Auto-calculate total rise | Automatically add steps until they reach the ground. | 
| Total rise | Distance from the top step to the bottom step. | 
| Closed | Connect the last point to the first, forming a closed shape. | 
| Switch sides | Reverse which direction the steps run. | 
| Edit points | Enable or disable point editing mode, which will allow you to modify the shape. See Editing Points for details. | 
| Shape options | Save the current shape or load a new one. For more details, see Saving and Loading Shapes. | 
| Tread |  | 
| Use default material | Uncheck to use a different material for the treads. | 
| Type | Style of tread to use. | 
| Tread height | Height of each stair tread. | 
| Overhang | How far the tread will overhang the step. | 
| Riser |  | 
| Use default material | Uncheck to use a different material for the risers. | 
| Information |  | 
| Calculated rise | Calculate rise of each step based on the number of steps and tread run. | 
| Number of steps | Number of steps used in the stairs. |
